Mr. Lange’s Tomb – Makam Tuan Lange
Mr. Lange’s Tomb or Makam Tuan Lange is one of the most historic tourist attraction in Kuta. It is located on Tuan Lange Street, 3 km or 10 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport . Mr. Lange’s Tomb has an area of about 5 acres of special by flowering plants neatly lined up.At the entrance, there is a dalmatian dog statue that was once the Mr. or Tuan Lange’s dog . Furthermore , there is also a monument as high as 3 meters and some writing. This tomb is surrounded by a wall that has typical Balinese ornaments. Mr. Lange’s Tomb is adjacent to the Chinese cemetery and crossed by the Tukad Mati River, therefore, this tomb has a very gripping atmosphere at night.

Mr. Lange / Mads Johansen Lange is a citizen of Denmark and is one of the most moderate in Kuta. His contribution about the development of tourism in Kuta poured on a book about the beauty of kuta beach. after the book was launched, tourism Tuta thrived and became an international tourist attraction on the 19th . Moreover, thanks to his hard work, he managed to make a peace agreement between the Dutch and Bali Kingdom in 1849 that made the citizens of Bali freedom from Dutch colonialism for several years and mads lange earned a nick name “Knight Of Dutch Lion” by dutch kingdom.

One of the oldest villages on the island, Tenganan Pegringsingan, or Tenganan for short, is within only a 15-minute drive uphill north of the main Candidasa area. The Bali Aga (original Balinese) village is well-preserved and predates the arrival of the Majapahit kingdom to Bali. One of the most unique attractions here includes the namesake ancient textile produced here, namely the double-weave ikat cloth called Geringsing, which is believed to have mystical value.
