The temple built in east of Puputan Badung square garden is a public shrine to worship for Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa (call for Hindu god). It is strategically located on Major Wisnu Street that is very easy reached from any directions as well as famous temple and appointed as a tourist destination in Denpasar City. This temple many visited by the Hindu people especially during the Hindu Holiday season including full moon. This temple is categorized as Kahyangan Temple and become an altar to the god for Hindu people. When comparing with the name of Kahyangan Temples or other temples around Bali Island then this temple’s name is taken from the name of mount or village which is relevant to the temple located in Besakih Temple area, Ulun Danu Batur Temple area, Lempuyang Temple area, Andakasa Temple area, Puncak Mangu Temple area and others. Bali Museum is one of the museums in Bali collecting the ancient objects related to the history of Bali Island generally. The existence of this museum is very important to preserve the ancient and historical objects that have a noble culture values and a legacy of Balinese ancestors. The museum was built in 1931 by architect P.J. Moojen, near the location of the former royal palace of Denpasar, which had been burnt to the ground during the Dutch intervention in Bali (1906), and used it as a model for its outside walls and courtyards. The village of Trunyan is squeezed tightly between the lake and the outer crater rim of Batur, an almighty volcano in Kintamani. This is a Bali Aga village, inhabited by descendants of the original Balinese, the people who predate the arrival of the Hindu Majapahit kingdom in the 16th century. It is famous for the Pura Pancering Jagat temple, but unfortunately visitors are not allowed inside. There are also a couple of traditional Bali Aga-style dwellings, and a large banyan tree, which is said to be more than 1,100 years old. At Kuban sub-village close to Trunyan is a mysterious cemetery that is separated by the lake and accessible only by boat – there is no path along the steep walls of the crater rim. From Ngurah Rai International Airport spend time around 3 hours 20 minutes, from Denpasar city around 3 hours and from Tabanan around 2 hours 30 minutes. This temple area own the wide area about 35 acre in form of black stones bank. The position of this temple is rather sticking out to the sea as a small peninsula or in Balinese word called by Ponjok. Base on the position and condition then this place is named by Ponjok Batu so that the temple is standing above foreland petrify and it is referred as Ponjok Batu Temple.
